SMVDU invites applicant for admission into management programme (MBA) programme foe the upcoming session 2011.

Courses Offered: MBA (Business Economics)

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: The Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent examination. A candidate who is in the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification, if selected, will be allowed to join the Program provisionally only if he/she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2011 from the Principal/Registrar of his/her college/institute (issued on or before June 30, 2011) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.

How to Apply: Prospectus and Application form can be obtained on payment of an A/C payee DD of Rs. 1000/-, from Public Relation Officer, 15C, II Extension, Opp. Bahu Plaza, JDA Complex, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu -180004 OR from the office of the Assistant Registrar (A&E), SMVDU Campus, Kakryal, Katra- 182320 OR can be downloaded from the institute websites and can be submitted along with a DD worth Rs. 1000/- drawn in favor of Registrar, SMVDU, payable at Jammu

Seats:All the seats shall be filled on the basis of merit only as per the University norms. The total number of seats for the program will be decided by the SMVD University.

Admission procedure:The College of Management of SMVD University shall use the CAT Score 2010 only for short-listing the candidates for admission to two year full time Masters Degree Program in Business Administration (MBA) & Masters Degree Program in Business

Administration (Business Economics) for the Academic Session 2011-12.
