Obtaining the Application Form

Completing the Application Form

1        Fill in the Application Form only if you satisfy yourselves about your eligibility for admission to the programme.
2        If you have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result thereof is awaited, you can apply provisionally to go through admission process at your own risk.
3        The Application Form has to be filled in your own handwriting in black ink.
4        The instructions in the Application Form are self-explanatory. Please follow them strictly.
5        It is mandatory to provide your email address (clearly) as it will be used by the Admission Office for any communication.
6        Please attach self attested copies of your mark sheets/testimonials with the Application Form. At this stage do not send any original copies of mark sheets / Testimonials. Anything submitted will not be returned.
7        Mark sheets of Board/University submitted with the application form only will be considered for all procedure related to admission.
8        It may be noted that no request for change in the particulars filled in the Application Form by you will be entertained under any circumstances.

Bachelor of Law (LLB - Honours)

The admission to the LL.B (H) programme of Amity Law School is done through a common Entrance Test conducted by the GGS IP University to which Amity Law School is affiliated. Details are given below:-
A candidate desirous of admission to the LL.B (Hons.) programme should have passed, with at least 50% marks in aggregate with English as a compulsory subject in any of the following examinations:-
i) Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBEF), Delhi
ii) An examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificates Examination of the CBSE.
iii) Candidate should be below 21 years of age on 1st August.
Allocation of Seats: Each year a total number of 80 students will be admitted in the LL.B (Hons.) programme of Amity Law School. The seat allocation is as follows:-
90% of the seats under various courses of the affiliated institutions including Amity Law School shall be filled up through a Common Entrance Test conducted by the University followed by counseling upon two rounds as per the present practice. State Government Policy on reservations will apply in these admissions.
10% of the seats (8 seats) are to be filled in by the Management from the merit list only.

Admission Procedure
Step One: Submit filled Application forms.
Step Two: About Entrance Test - The Common Entrance Test will be conducted by the University. The subjects generally are: Comprehension of English, knowledge of Current Affairs/General Knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues), Reasoning and Analytical Ability of Class XII level.

Further Details - Further details can be procured form the Admission Bulletin (containing the application form) of the GGS Indraprastha University, against payment of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 150/- by post) either in cash or bank draft drawn in favour of Registrar, GGS Indraprastha University, Old Delhi College of Engineering Building, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110 006. The forms are also available with some designated branches of the Punjab & Sind Bank.
