The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies

Vacancies are provisional and may be changed depending on the availability of training capacity of National Defence Academy
Nationality: A candidate must either be (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal
Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 1996 and not later than 01st July 1999 are eligible
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination
Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them
They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination
APPLICATION FEE: Candidates (excepting female SC/ST/PH candidates/ Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 in the notification who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur/ Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card
Applicants who opt for "Pay by Cash" mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part- II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. "Pay by Cash" mode option will be deactived at 23.59 hours of 22nd January 2015 i.e. one day before the closing date; however, applicants who have generated their Pay-in-slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date
Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip, will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 23.59 hours of 23rd January 2015
For the applicants in whose case payments details have not been received from the bank they will be treated as fictitious payment cases and a list of all such applicants shall be made available on the commission website within two weeks after the last day of submission of online application
The applicants shall be required to submit the proof of their fee payment within 10 days from the date of such communication either by hand or by speed post to the commission
On receipt of documentary proof, genuine fee payment cases will be considered and their applications will be revived, if they are otherwise eligible

2. The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.
3. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.
4. Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
5. The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination.
6. The candidates are not permitted to use calculator or Mathematical or logirithmic table for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets). They should not therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) provides the students the ease of filling up a single application form to get admission to any of the 16 participating law institutes' under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). According to the MoU, the Common Law Admission Test would be conducted by each of the National Law Schools on rotation as per the criterion of seniority.

Educational Qualification for UG Programme: A candidate should have obtained Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities Age for UG Programme: A candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 01st July 2015 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability candidates, as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities
Educational Qualification for PG Programme: A candidate should have obtained an LL.B/a five year integrated LL.B/any other equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST candidates), as prescribed by the respective Statutes of the participating Universities
Age for PG Programme: The participating Universities have not prescribed any upper age limit for PG Programmes
Reservation for UG/PG Programme: As per the Statutes of respective participating Universities; details may be seen in the prospectus of the respective University appended herewith
The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for UG courses shall multiple choice type questions as per the following scheme Maximum Marks: 200 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Total Number of Questions: 200 Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer
1.     English including Comprehension: 40 Marks
2.     General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 50 Marks
3.     Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 Marks
4.     Legal Aptitude: 50 Marks
5.     Logical Reasoning: 40 Marks
The CLAT-2015 Question Paper for PG courses shall have the following pattern: Maximum Marks: 150 Duration of CLAT-2015: 02:00 Hours Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions: 100 Mark Multiple-Choice Questions: 50 Marks (50 questions of 1 mark each) Negative Marking: 0.25 Mark/wrong answer to MCQ The long essay type contains 4 questions and 25 marks each pertaining to subject areas such as constitutional Law and Jurisprudence The Multiple-Choice Questions covers all subjects except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence prescribed by BCI for Under-Graduate Courses

The CLAT 2015 Online Application Form will be accessible on the CLAT website between 01st January 2015 to 31st March 2015 along-with the Information Brochure No hard copy of the Application Form and Information Brochure will be sold

The candidates has to pay the application fee for general OBC/PWD and other category candidates Rs. 4000/- while submitting the Application Form of CLAT-2015 The fee is Rs. 3500/- in case of the SC/ST category candidates
The candidates will have to bear the bank transaction costs for remitting the fee online while submitting the application form
The above application fee includes cost of online application form and e-brochure Previous year e-Question Papers of CLAT shall be available on the payment of Rs. 250/- only; for this the mode of payment is Online only.
There is only one mode of application i.e. online which can be accessed by a candidate after registering himself/herself on the CLAT website by creating a login account
The Online Application Form can be submitted only between 01st January 2015 to 31st March 2015 (11.59 PM)
The submitted Online Application Form in PDF format and other details will be available and accessible in the Login Account of the candidate; no copies of the filled in Online Application Form or uploaded certificates/documents need to be sent to the CLAT Office separately
The Hall-Ticket/Admit Card may be accessed / downloaded by the candidate in the personal LOGIN ACCOUNT; the candidate is required to take the printout of the Admit Card to the Exam Hall
Incomplete application or application in any mode other than online or application after the last date and time shall not be considered. It shall be the obligation of the candidate to fill the Online Application Form in a timely manner and the Organizing University, i.e. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow -226012 (UP) shall not be responsible in anyway
