Master of Business Administration (MBA)

2 Years

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program must possess a graduate degree from any recognized University. Students appearing at qualifying examination may also apply.

Admission Procedure: Admission to MBA full time course being made through on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates at All India Entrance Tests being conducted by All India Management Association and named as MAT (Management Aptitude Test). More over, aspirants having score card of CAT (Conducted by IIMs), JMET (Conducted by IITs), ATMA (Conducted by AIMS), XAT (Conducted by XLRI), may also apply. The score secured at any one of all these examinations conducted during preceding one year will be valid for admission. But the aspirants will be required to fill up their application to the admission office of the College in time. Such norms will be followed from academic session commencing July, 2007.

Candidates having passed MAT/CAT with a minimum of 60% score during preceding one year will be exempted from written test for admission in MBA course. Selection will be done on the basis of G.D. & Personality Test.

The College being one of the Constituent units of B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, follows reservation policy of its parent University. Candidate claiming admission against the reserved seats must fill up the necessary column in the Application form and attach the caste certificate issued from the competent authorities. No claim for admission on Reserved Seats will be entertained if not claimed at the time of application.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Part Time program must possess a graduate degree from any recognized University with 2 years of work experience.

Admission Procedure: Employed graduates applying for admission in MBA part time course will be exempted from written test subject to screening. Selection will be done on the basis of G.D. & Personality Test.

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must possess a graduate degree from any recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2/Inter level. Appearing candidate can also apply.

Admission Procedure: Admission to MCA course being made through All India Entrance Test followed by Group Discussion & Personality Test. Duration of the test will be of two hours covering questions relating to General Knowledge, General English, and Quantitative Methods/Computer Aptitude.
