The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is one of India's premier institutes for training, teaching and research in mass communication. It was set up by the Government of India in 1965 on the recommendation of a team of internationally known mass communication specialists from UNESCO and the Ford Foundation.  
Post Graduate Diploma in Radio and Television Journalism, (PGDRTJ)
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Those who have appeared/appearing in final degree Examinations are also eligible to apply.
Date of Birth: 1.8.1988 or later (for SCs / STs / PH 1.8.1983 or later and for OBC 1.8.1985 or later).
No. Of Seats:  Five seats available for NRIs / NRIs sponsored candidates, for which a separate prescribed application form should be submitted.
Reservation of Seats: As per Government of India Orders for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates.
Interview: Last week of June/First week of July, 2013 - at New Delhi
How to Apply:
Ø       Application forms can be purchased in person or by post: Application forms and prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 1200/- through a demand draft only, drawn on any scheduled bank payable to Registrar IIMC at New Delhi, from IIMC New Delhi or Dhenkanal branch (Orissa). Request for application forms should be accompanied with Demand Draft & a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 70) envelope (27x17 cm).
Ø       For on-line Application process: The application form can be filled after downloading from www.iimc.gov.in. Each application form must be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 1200/- for General and Rs.1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi. Last date for receipt of application forms & DD is April 22, 2013.
Last date for submission of application form: 22nd April, 2013
Entrance Examination for all PG Diploma courses: 27th May 2013

    Journalism is the activity or product of journalists or others engaged in the preparation of written, visual, or audio material intended for dissemination through public media with reference to factual, ongoing events of public concern. If any guys to become a successful Journalists, they should have to choose a best colleges for journalism. If we talk about new delhi, a large number of mass communication colleges in new delhi but from these colleges, choose top journalism colleges in new delhi, and secure your life in the field of journalists.     It's always good to pursue your education from reputed colleges in India. Students who want to make their career is mass, media etc can consider IIMC, Delhi. Kindly let me know some other Mass Comm Colleges in Delhi Ncr.
