PhD ICT and Energy Admission Notification 2010 at IIT Rajasthan

IIT Rajasthan invites applicant for admission to the Interdisciplinary PhD Programme of the two Centers of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology and Energy.

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Degree in Professional Courses (Engineering Disciplines)         

M.Tech. / M.E. / M.Sc. (Engineering) or equivalent      

General or OBC: First Class or equivalent / At least 60% or equivalent / At least 6.5 CPI or equivalent   

SC or ST: At least 55% or equivalent/ At least 6 CPI or equivalent

B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent    

General or OBC: First Class or equivalent/ At least 60% or equivalent/ At least 6.5 CPI or equivalent

SC or ST: At least 55% or equivalent/ At least 6 CPI or equivalent

Additional Requirements, General/OBC/SC/ST

Qualified in GATE that is valid at the time of admission to Ph.D.

(OR) CPI ≥ 8 from any of the IITs

Masters Degree in Science Disciplines:

M.Sc. or equivalent

General or OBC: First Class or equivalent / At least 60% or equivalent / At least 6.5 CPI or equivalent

SC/ST: At least 55% or equivalent/ At least 6 CPI or equivalent

Additional Requirements, General/OBC/SC/ST

Qualified in GATE / CSIR-NET JRF / UGC-NET JRF / NBHM / DBT that is valid at the time of admission to Ph.D.

Masters Degree in the Disciplines covered under Humanities & Social Sciences and Arts

M.A. or equivalent

General or OBC: At least 60% or equivalent / At least 6.5 CPI or equivalent. SC/ST: At least 55% or equivalent/ At least 6 CPI or equivalent

Qualified in GATE / UGC-NET JRF that is valid at the time of admission to Ph.D.

For December 2010 admission, the completed application forms should reach before November 15, 2010.Prescribed application form can be downloaded from the institute official website. The completed application along with the processing fee of Rs.300/- for General/ OBC candidates and Rs.150/- for SC/ ST / Physically Challenged candidates in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of “Director, IIT Rajasthan” payable at Jodhpur should be sent to the following address:
