Admission to DNB Post Graduate courses July, 2013 admission session

DNB CET is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for entry to various post graduate courses in modern medicine under the National Board of Examinations (NBE)

NBE shall be conducting DNB CET as a computer based test (CBT) from 19^th August, 2013 to 26^th August, 2013 at test centres across the country

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree/provisional MBBS pass certificate from an Institute recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council and have completed one year of compulsory internship or likely to complete on or before 31^st July, 2013 may apply DNB CET.

Fees: Composite examination fee and information bulletin voucher (required for online application system) can be obtained from selected branches of Axis Bank on payment of Rs 4250/-

How to Apply

Kindly purchase Composite Information Bulletin-cum-Examination Fee Voucher from the selected branches of Axis Bank

Refer to Annexure C of this information bulletin for list of branches of Axis Bank

The unique serial number of the Information Bulletin-cum-Examination Fee Voucher is available underneath the scratch panel and needs to be entered on the DNB-CET website for the online registration and scheduling process

Candidates remaining absent from the examination will forfeit their examination fee

Candidates are advised to read the rule position carefully and satisfy the terms and conditions for fulfillment of eligibility criteria before proceeding for payment of fees

Online Registration:

Applicant may kindly note that appearance in DNB-CET does not confer any automatic rights to secure a seat in NBE accredited hospital /institute

Online Registration and Scheduling for the examination must be completed by 04^th August 2013 (by 23:59hrs)

Online Registration and Scheduling for DNB-CET examination: 8^th July, 2013 to 04^th August 2013

Examination dates for DNB-CET: 19^th August, 2013 to 26^th August 2013

Declaration of Results: 30^th September 2013

Cut off date for completing: 31^st July 2013 internship
